All about F1 Injectors

Image
The fuel system's job is to extract fuel from the fuel tank and transport it to the engine, where it is sprayed into the trumpets where it mixes with air before entering the cylinder where it is burned to produce torque. F1 Injectors The fuel system is built to recover fuel from the tank and increase and regulate this pressure using a sophisticated mechanical pump. The fuel must be delivered to the injectors at the proper pressure in order for the amount injected to be precisely metered. The optimal choice of injectors is not only dependent on how your truck has been modified. If you intend to acquire custom tuning for your truck, your decision will also depend on your personal preferences and those of the tuner. Additionally, F1 Injectors the choice and whether you must maintain emission compliance depend greatly on the primary use of your truck. For the lesser Stages of our injectors, we have conducted emission testing in the state of Washington. For the MY03 and MY4.5 truck

Dodge Adjustable Control Arms

The control arm on a Dodge Diesel has a very important job. They are mounted along the sides of the truck and anchor the top and the bottom of the front axle. This prevents the front axle from rolling toward the rear bumper as well as rolling toward the front bumper. Over time, the bushings in these control arms wear out and as a result, the front axle begins to rock back and forth toward the front and rear bumper. In some cases, particularly in off road vehicles, the weak factory control arms can become damaged by logs, rocks and other off road hazards. To help prevent damage from off road hazards, many owners choose to install a lift kit on their truck. Lift kits can increase the clearance between truck components and ground level hazards. Many customers have asked about improving the ride and handling of their truck. This is especially true of trucks with lift kits and oversize tires on them. From the factory, the ride and geometry of the truck is carefully considered to ensure sa

Avoid Excessive Exhaust Gas Temperatures in your Dodge Diesel

Exhaust gas temperatures (or EGT’s) are a considerable risk to modern diesel engines when they become excessive. When the driver increases the work load on the engine by increasing the demand for power, EGT’s can rise. The higher the EGT’s, the greater the risk is to vital engine components like the turbo and pistons. There are several ways to reduce excessive EGT’s. Those ways include, reducing the power demand, changing to a lower gear, installing a high performance intercooler or running an external cooling system like water methanol injection. The first is the most simple, reduce the power demand on the engine. Simply backing off the throttle will reduce fuel and thereby reduce the temperature. The second option is to change gears into a lower gear and increase the RPM of the truck. This will cause the turbo to spool faster and generate more air going through the cylinder and help lower EGT’s. Another option to reduce excessive EGT’s is through the use of an auxiliary cooling sys

Necessity of Dodge Steering Stabilizer

Many Dodge diesel truck owners have experienced excessive wander when driving. There is often the complaint that “the truck does not drive like it used to.” Fortunately there is a solution to sloppy steering. Source Automotive Dodge Steering Stabilizers were designed to solve this problem. When Dodge diesel trucks were designed, the frame and front end components remained unchanged from its gasoline engine counterparts. The difference however is that the diesel power plant is several hundred pounds heavier than a standard gasoline engine. Its cast iron block puts an extra strain on the frame and other front end components. This causes increased wear and decreases the overall handling of the truck. As the steering wheel is turned, the weight of the truck causes the frame rails to flex at the joints. Just imagine a square and putting excessive force on one of the corners. When this happens, the square looses its shape and the frame flexes. In addition to this, the unsupported force is
